What is DropNote?
DropNote is a free, simple, and private way to share temporary notes. In a world where digital information can last forever, we believe some things shouldn't. Whether it's a password, a secret message, or a quick reminder, DropNote lets you share information with the confidence that it won't linger.
How It Works
The process is designed to be as straightforward as possible:
- Write Your Note: Type your message into the sticky note on the homepage. You can choose a color and set a self-destruct option.
- Create a Link: Click the "Create Note" button. We'll generate a unique, private link for your note.
- Share the Link: Copy the link and send it to your recipient through any channel you like (email, chat, etc.).
- Note is Read & Dropped: Once the recipient opens the link and reads the note, it is permanently deleted from our servers. If you set a timer, it will be deleted after the time is up, even if it's never been read.
Our Commitment to Privacy
Your privacy is our top priority. We do not read your notes, and we do not store any personal information alongside them. Once a note is deleted, it is gone forever. There is no backup and no way to recover it.
